But games are meant to be fun, and what’s more fun than having an Overpowered class? The poll results are telling, as 63% of the voters have asked to keep the imbalance in the class.
Obviously, this inquiry has led to a mixed bag of reactions, with some players calling for balance while others advocate for keeping the Spiritborn as it is for the sake of enjoyment. As Fergusson mentioned in his tweet, this is a non-binding poll, which means that while player input is welcome, it doesn’t necessarily dictate Blizzard’s course of action.
For the players who are worried about the balance among classes, he reassured them that they aren’t looking to “break the other classes” but are instead focusing on the Spiritborn’s current state. This hints that some nerf will occur, regardless of player preference.
