Missouri’s Eli Drinkwitz caught shouting expletives at Alabama players

Eli Drinkwitz wasn’t happy, and he let the Alabama Crimson Tide know it.

The Missouri coach was caught on video shouting an expletives at the Alabama defense in the first quarter of Alabama 34-0 homecoming win in Tuscaloosa on Saturday.

Alabama’s LT Overton was called for a personal foul for hitting on Missouri quarterback Brady Cook on a third-and-12 play on the Missouri 17. There was confusion on the play, however, as Cook appeared to believe the play was dead, but no whistle could be heard.

Overton continued through the play, leveling the quarterback.

Officials called a delay-of-game penalty on the Tigers, as well as the personal foul on Overton.

As you can see from the video above, Drinkwitz wasn’t happy with the way his already-banged up quarterback got hit. Cook, who was suffering from a high ankle sprain sustain a week earlier, would later injure his right hand when he hit a lineman’s helmet.

He went to the Alabama locker room for an MRI and was ruled out for the rest of the game.

Cook finished 7 of 12 for just 30 yards.
