Ray J shut down after saying “too much” while speaking to TMZ’s Harvey Levin for the outlet’s latest documentary, “The Downfall of Diddy: Inside the Freak-Offs.”
The singer, 43, claimed on Wednesday that he has been “hearing about all these [people] playing victims to keep their name out of” Sean “Diddy” Combs’ recent legal troubles.
“People do catch and kills all day,” Ray J alleged. “Somebody has the truth, somebody pays you to keep it quiet and hopefully that money that you got paid secures your happiness while you watch the lie continue to succeed.”
He described this scenario as A-listers saying, “I’ll give you money. Please don’t talk.”
When Levin, 74, asked whether what Ray J described is “going on now,” he replied, “Yes.”
He explained, “They want to talk to me about what happened to them. They call me. They feel like they can trust me. They want to tell me about certain things that happened with them and Diddy.”
Levin clarified, “Are these high-profile people calling you because they’ve had some affiliation with Diddy that they don’t want to come out and they think you might be the vessel for it coming out?”
Ray J confirmed that was “exactly” what he meant.
“I don’t even know why I just said it, but I said it,” he continued. “So what? They’re gonna be mad. Come get me.”
However, the “Celebrity Big Brother” alum would not specify what these alleged stars “did with” Combs as he believed he had already “said too much.”
Combs’ legal team has yet to respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
The music mogul was arrested in September and has since pleaded not guilty to sex trafficking, racketeering and prostitution charges.
Additionally, the “Coming Home” rapper has been hit with a slew of sexual assault claims.
Texas-based attorney Tony Buzbee, who is representing numerous alleged victims, claimed in an October press conference that the list of Combs’ alleged accomplices would “shock” the public.
The lawyer said, “We will expose the enablers who enabled this conduct behind closed doors. … Because of the nature of this case, we are going to make damn sure — damn sure — that we’re right before we do that.”
In October, Buzbee told TMZ he had sent demand letters to many A-list celebrities who had some knowledge about the music producer’s alleged freak-offs to “resolve matters” privately.
Combs was famous for his star-studded parties, with celebs knowing to leave before things took a turn, Us Weekly reported last month.
While he remains behind bars, his three sons — Quincy Brown, 33, Justin Combs, 30, and Christian Combs, 26 — allegedly got into a fight with Ray J at a Halloween party, which Chris Brown broke up.
