BIRTHDAY boy Kasper Schmeichel would’ve been disappointed with himself after Christoph Baumgartner’s opener.
The Celtic goalkeeper, who turned 38 today, was behind his goal-line when the Austrian found the back of the net.
But Hoops fans aren’t blaming the Danish veteran for RB Leipzig‘s first half goal.
In fact, many are instead accusing the man he replaced between the sticks at Parkhead of being at fault.
Former Celtic stopper Joe Hart is back at his old stadium for commentary duties for TNT Sports and Hoops supporters weren’t impressed with one of his comments during the match coverage.
Speaking in the lead up to Baumgartner’s goal, Hart actually hailed Brendan Rodgers‘ team for their defending from corners during the 0-0 draw away at Atalanta.

And in typical fashion, the German outfit broke the deadlock moments later from – you guessed it – a corner!
To no surprise, fans were quick to point out Hart’s blunder and have pinned the blame on the retired goalie for his analysis.
Writing on X, one punter said: “Joe Hart at fault there in my opinion.”
Another commented: “That’s what we get because Joe Hart mentioned how we defended corners so well against Atalanta.”
While a third added: “As soon as Joe Hart said that we knew it was a goal.”
Hart confessed moments later that he suffered the commentator’s curse on-air.
And fans agreed with him on.
Somebody wrote: “Fair play Joe Hart commentators curse right enough.”
Another agreed: “Joe Hart cursed us with the commentator’s curse.”
Despite his huge blunder, it’s fair to say fans have been impressed with his commentary in general.
One Hoops fans hailed: “Joe Hart. You’re an absolute delight on co-comms.”
Another agreed: “Could listen to Joe Hart all night.”
While someone else said: “Joe Hart has been excellent on commentary tonight.”
