There were a lot of things in the first game that were not explored to the fullest. Now with the sequel in the works, the excitement amongst fans has begun to stir up again. They want some massive improvements from the first game. Here are the following things that fans want to see in the sequel:

  • A full-fledged Quidditch gameplay

Fans have been wanting to see Quidditch explored to the fullest this time around, as opposed to how it was only passively touched upon in the first part. People want to be able to join teams, practice, and compete in matches.

The developer can also find a way to incorporate this into the main story by designing some quests around Quidditch, which would be really cool to see given how massively this aspect of the Harry Potter universe was missing from the first game.

Fans want a more nuanced experience this time around based on the good and bad decisions you make along the way, which would add a new layer of complexity and influence how NPCs interact with the character and even affect the storyline.

For example, you can come across a crossroads where you are asked to decide between light and dark magic paths. This could further pave the way for multiple endings based on the decisions you make along the way and increase the game’s immersion.

  • Exploration beyond Hogwarts

Many iconic places were missing from Hogwarts Legacy, and there is an opportunity this time to expand the map to some of the most iconic places from the books and movies.

We could see places like Diagon Alley, Ministry of Magic, and Azkaban find their way into the game. There could be special quests designed for the players to introduce the new regions.

Hogwarts Legacy is a great game that has been praised for its immersive nature and attention to detail, but there are still some things in the game that need massive improvements.

  • More engaging NPC interactions

The interactions with fellow students and teachers in the first game were rather shallow and not fully explored. Hardly did an NPC affect the story in a tangible way, which made players feel a disconnect from the world of the game.

People want a more nuanced interactive experience where they can feel like a part of the game’s world and find a sense of belonging by building relationships with fellow mates and teachers or even falling in love with someone. This would benefit the game in many ways.

  • More customizable options

Fans want to see more customization options this time around. They want to experiment with different builds and appearances, which were missing from the first game. They would like to change the look of the character further as they progress in the game to give a sense of the passage of time.

  • An advanced spell-casting system

The spell-casting system in Hogwarts Legacy is rather simplistic, which turned out to be quite bothersome for some people. They want to see a more nuanced spell-casting system this time around based on a person’s choices and build.

There are most of the things that players are looking forward to in the next game, and it is highly likely that the developer might be looking out for them. What do you think about it? Let us know in the comments below.
