Police have arrested two people in connection with an armed robbery at a package store in Newington last month.

Stevelan Snowden, 42, of Hartford was arrested Wednesday on charges of first-degree robbery, conspiracy to commit first-degree robbery, third-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit third-degree larceny, according to the Newington Police Department.

That arrest followed police apprehending Devon Kempson-Cook, 37, of Hartford on Monday, police said. Kempson-Cook faces the same charges as Snowden in addition to one count of criminal use of a weapon.
