Joan Vassos Feels Torn Up Over Yellowstone Drama
Kevin Costner’s unofficial exit from the modern Western Yellowstone and his feud with Taylor Sheridan has broken a lot of hearts in the past two years and derailed the entirety of the series’s Season 5. A lot of heated debates and arguments arose in the months that followed. But The Golden Bacherotte star Joan Vassos’ heartbreak over the former Dutton patriarch hits differently.
Speaking to Decider in a recent interview, Vassos reveals how the Western actor’s absence from the show will affect the audience:
Despite the immense popularity of the Paramount+ series, the clashes that eventually led to Kevin Costner’s exit remain shrouded in mystery. While the actor chalks it up to scheduling conflict, there is more that remains to be sufficiently explained.
Moreover, Costner throwing caution to the wind for his four-part Western saga, Horizon, also failed to work out in his favor which puts him 0-2 against Taylor Sheridan and Yellowstone.
Joan Vassos Would Trade It All for One Man
Chock Chapple and Guy Gansert — although a choice duo — hold no allure over one actor who has forever stolen Joan Vassos’ heart. While working as an extra in the 1985 movie St. Elmo’s Fire, Vassos happened to meet Rob Lowe, the 9-1-1: Lone Star hero and has been head over heels for him ever since.
In an interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, when asked if she would trade both her suitors for Lowe, Vassos replied that she would do so in a heartbeat. As the audience laughed and cheered for her, she added “Can you blame me?”
Although he may only be the celebrity crush of her dreams, Joan Vassos’ own fan club ensured that the word reached Lowe’s ears via Entertainment Tonight during a red carpet event. The actor was kind enough to respond to her by lending some relationship advice, telling her to find “somebody that makes you laugh. That answer is not only true, it’s also very safe.”
The Golden Bachelorette is streaming on Hulu and Disney+.
