Uefa have dished out fines after fans from both teams booed the national anthems at the Aviva Stadium.

England supporters were deemed to have jeered throughout Amhran na bhFiann.

The FA has been slapped with a £10,500 fine as a result.

While Ireland fans drowned out God Save The King, with the FAI receiving a £8,400 rebuke.

England‘s fine was greater because the booing was deemed a repeat offence.

Both associations were also hit with further fines after disorder plagued the fixture in Dublin.

Uefa hit the FAI with bills of £7,800 for lighting flares and £5,000 after a fan ran onto the field of play.

The FA was also fined £4,150 after an England fan dashed onto the pitch.

Carsley is set to take charge of the Three Lions’ games with Greece and Ireland later this month.

He will then finish his interim job and return to his former role with the England under-21s.

Thomas Tuchel has been hired as a full-time replacement for Gareth Southgate and will start his new role in January.
