However, the one that has stood the test of time was her role as April Ludgate in the beloved sitcom, Parks and Recreation. Although the series came to an end years ago, the actress has managed to keep one thing from it alive: her love for her co-star and on-screen love interest, Chris Pratt.
With the two having played a couple that eventually got hitched, the now 40-year-old could not help herself commenting on the actor’s real-life wedding after the show ended.

There is no doubt that Aubrey Plaza has a special place in her heart for Chris Pratt. After all, the two had fallen in love in the second season of Parks and Recreation and tied the knot in season 3. With a bond like that, it was not surprising when the actress started singing his praises and hyping him up for the world to see. In fact, in an interview with People, shortly after the Guardians of the Galaxy star had married Katherine Schwarzenegger, she even claimed that she had hit the jackpot.
Well, I mean, [Pratt’s character] Andy Dwyer was the best husband that anyone could ask for. I think Chris Pratt… I think there’s a lot of similarities between Andy and Chris Pratt just as there are with me and April Ludgate.
Plaza continued, “So, my bet is that he’s gonna be the most fun husband ever and I think that girl is a lucky, lucky, lucky gal. Yeah, it’s a jackpot.” With Pratt and Schwarzenegger having just tied the knot in 2019, it was a little too soon to say whether the actress was right about her former co-star.
However, with the couple now celebrating their 5th anniversary and welcoming 2 kids during that time, they seem to be living the dream. In fact, Pratt keeps showing the world just how true Plaza’s statements were.

Apart from sharing a cute picture of himself and Schwarzenegger, the actor wrote, “Happy Anniversary to my honey! Five years has flown by. Thank you so much for the joy, stability and fun you’ve brought to my life. I thank God for you every day.” Although it might have been a small gesture to some, it made the words of Aubrey Plaza ring true.
While Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively might be the king and queen of social media trolling, it looks like Pratt has picked up a few good things from the chronically online couple. In the process, he has also made his wife, Schwarzenegger one of the luckiest women alive.
