WE are building-up to a huge night at Parkhead as Celtic kick-off their Champions League campaign.
Brendan Rodgers‘ side welcome Slovakian outfit Slovan Bratislava to Glasgow in their opening game of the all-new league phase.
The Hoops have been handed statistically the EASIEST run of fixtures of any team in the entire competition.
Slovan are just the fourth Slovakian club to qualify for this competition – and the first since Zilina 14 years ago.
By contrast, they’ve got a daunting run of games against Bayern Munich, Atletico Madrid, Man City and AC Milan.
But there’s no easy games in this competition and Bratislava – who battled through four rounds of qualifying to get here – feature a few well-kent faces.

They’re captained by veteran former Rangers star Vladimir Weiss, and managed by his dad, also Vladimir Weiss.
And they’re actually the top ranked team in the bottom pot of teams by co-efficient.
Celtic’s run of Champions League results has been anything but impressive – with a 2-1 win over Feyenoord last season their first home win in the competition for TEN years.
He also has the distinction of masterminding one of the biggest Champions League shocks in Hoops’ history, when Artmedia Bratislava knocked Gordon Strachan‘s Celtic out with a 5-4 aggregate qualifying win.
