IT’S a big night for Celtic as they get their Champions League campaign underway against Slovan Bratislava.
And one of their superstar fans who will be cheering them on at Celtic Park has appeared in a comedic video posted by the club before kick-off.
James McAvoy, star of Hollywood blockbusters X-Men and Split, is a massive Celtic supporter.
And the actor featured in a video posted by his club on their account on X, formerly Twitter, with the caption ‘an admin upgrade for the UCL!’
The clip shows McAvoy posting pictures of the Celtic players arriving to the club’s X account, before pumping his fist and exclaiming “‘Mon the Hoops!”
And fans took to the replies to praise the video and McAvoy himself.
One supporter commented: “Was not expecting to see him.”
Another replied: “My school mate James! Great guy, what a character I tell you.”
A third said: “Sub him on when we are 6-0 up for a laugh.”
A fourth simply said: “What a man!!”
