Rebecca Ferguson has made a big name for herself in the industry but a shocking revelation she made earlier this year shocked everyone. The actress appeared on the Josh Smith podcast and made a startling revelation about a co-star who was so unprofessional that she had to stand up for herself. So, much so that she immediately requested that she perform scenes while facing the back of his head.
While the actress did not name the co-star, she did detail what actually unfolded on set. Ferguson added via Variety:
I did a film with an absolute idiot of a co-star and this human being was being so insecure and angry because this person couldn’t get the scenes out. And I think I was so vulnerable and uncomfortable that I got screamed at and I would cry walking off set.
Recalling the entire incident, she also added that this was the first time ever she took a stand for herself. Following this, she arrived on set the very next day and told her co-star:
You get off my set. You can F off. I’m gonna work towards a tennis ball. I never want to see you again. And then I remember the producers came up and said, ‘You can’t do this to number one. We have to let this person be on set.
The actress made these revelations while she was on Dune: Part Two’s press tour. Evidently, this interview went viral, with the actress also revealing via Variety that several of her co-stars called her up to check up on her.
She also didn’t fail to add that “if you’re a good person” then you probably don’t need to get worried about her statements.

Emily Blunt
Emily Blunt and Rebecca Ferguson collaborated together in 2016 on the psychological thriller The Girl on the Train directed by Tate Taylor. Even though it is highly unlikely, fans did bring in Blunt as the possible mystery actor that Ferguson was talking about. As she referred to her co-star as a “human being” and didn’t explicitly specify the gender.
But via Daily Mail, The Devil Wears Prada actress’ representatives were quick to refute these claims and added:
Rebecca and Emily are friends and there’s nothing but love between them.
Blunt has been criticized in the past due to several of her insensitive comments, putting her right in the hot seat. But as revealed by her spokesperson she shares nothing but a great friendship with Ferguson, putting all the rumors to rest.
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson
Ferguson worked with wrestler-turned-actor Dwayne Johnson in the action fantasy movie Hercules in 2014. In the midst of all the names, even his name was brought into the debate. In the past, a report via The Wrap had claimed that the actor is very difficult to work with. Several people with whom he had worked on the movie Red One criticized his “chronic lateness and lack of professionalism on set. ”
While this was the situation here, on the outside the actor can be seen in a rather calm and composed manner. In fact, after Ferguson’s interview went viral, he was the first one to publicly come out and support her. He went on X and tweeted:

This tweet of Johnson indirectly states that he wasn’t the one who screamed at the actress. And he also stated that he would like to know the name of the celebrity who actually behaved in this manner with the actress on set.
Hugh Jackman
Hugh Jackman and Rebecca Ferguson have worked together on two movies namely Reminiscence and The Greatest Showman. Further, after which the fans were quick to bring the Wolverine actor to the list. However, this seems highly unlikely given that the actress has praised the actor in a past interview.
She also detailed how he made her feel so comfortable on set, which in turn allowed her to bring in more authenticity in her portrayal. Ferguson further added:
I can try things out. I can be ridiculous. I can humiliate myself and still be so embraced and for him, just holding space for me. And hopefully he feels the same about me.
Not only Ferguson but other actors have also added only good things about working with Jackman and appreciated his graciousness on set. Thus, clearing out his name from the list of the actors who yelled at the actress.
Hugh Grant
Since the beginning of his career, Hugh Grant has appeared on numerous Rom-com movies and enjoyed quite a huge popularity. But despite this, he has also been criticized on several occasions for his rather grumpy behavior. Thus, making him a top runner in this list. He worked with Ferguson in the movie Florence Foster Jenkins, and the viewers are convinced he’s the one who screamed at her.

The actor has yet to confirm or deny the same and has kept quiet in the midst of celebrities who are reaching out to her and showcasing their support.
Tom Cruise
In the industry, actor Tom Cruise is famous for his remarkable acting and performing his own stunts. While he brings his A-game on the movie set, he also expects others to do the same. For instance, in a past interview via Harper’s Bazaar actress Thandie Newton recalled working with the actor in Mission: Impossible II.
The actress said while he tried super hard to be a nice person, she “was so scared” of him while filming their scenes.

Jake Gyllenhaal
Rebecca Ferguson has also shared the screen with actor Jake Gyllenhaal in the sci-fi movie Life. In the past, Gyllenhaal has been brought under fire for his erratic onset behavior, which even shut down a movie.
The said movie was named Suddenly written by Thomas Bidegain. He was also the director of the project, and just after a week of shooting with the actor, Bidegain decided to translate the script into French. Further, he filmed the same with French actors instead of Gyllenhaal and Vanessa Kirby who was also set to star in the project.
