After depression Boris flooded Central Europe with rain in recent days, it is now Southern Europe’s turn. Italy in particular is getting a lot of precipitation. The northern region of Emilia Romagna is being hit by floods. More than 1,000 residents have now been evacuated there. Locally, up to 200 mm of precipitation could fall until the end of the week and possibly even more locally. Code red has been declared there, as in the Marche region. Croatia also declared code red, but there that is for heavy gusts of wind.
