A TEENAGE boy has tragically died after he collapsed on a football pitch while playing with friends.
The 15-year-old boy sadly passed away during a game at Ashton on Mersey School against Sale High School on Tuesday night.
The young boy was a pupil in Year 11 and attended Sale High School, according to a note sent to parents from bosses at Ashton on Mersey, Manchester Evening News reports.
