Jitske Van de Veire shares a nasty experience with her followers on social media. The influencer was walking with her wife Dym through the streets of Ghent on a car-free Sunday when a mother and her son tried to cycle past. “She thought we were in the way,” Jitske says in the video. “Before we knew it, she was shouting ‘lesbian’ at us. She used our sexual orientation as a swear word in a city where we should feel safe.”
