Two Siberian tigers from the Netherlands left for Kazakhstan last weekend, where the species has been extinct for decades. In the gigantic fenced-off reserve that has been prepared for them there, the shy Bohdana and Kuma must take care of offspring, in the hope of starting a tiger population that can live in the wild again. “Hopefully they like each other. If there are cubs, we’ll celebrate.”
