NILES, Ohio (WKBN) — All eyes were focused on raising awareness in Niles on Saturday night for those with vision impairments.
The Eye Ball of the Mahoning Valley was hosted at the Eastwood Event Centre to support Sight for All United. Organizers want to help those with vision impairments have the ability to see and read as well as educate the public of the importance of vision services.
“I’m so humbled when the community shows up like this with this energy and enthusiasm and supports it, and they can really get that. You can’t thrive in school, you can’t get a job, you can’t drive a car,” said Dr. Sergul Erzerum.
First News evening anchor Lindsey Watson was the emcee for the event. It was the eighth year for Eye Ball of the Mahoning Valley.
Wilson Corbisello contributed to this event.
