The National Weather Service issued a wind advisory at 4:02 p.m. on Wednesday valid from Thursday noon until Friday midnight for Covington, Mobile and Baldwin counties.
The weather service describes, “North winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph expected becoming northwest.”
“Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result,” explains the weather service. “Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.”
