Though it’s still only the pre-season, it’s safe to say Matvei Michkov is fitting in just fine in the NHL.
Across his three appearances for the Philadelphia Flyers, the 19-year-old Russian has already recorded three goals and six points.
Two of those goals came in the Flyers’ 3-2 overtime win against the Boston Bruins on Saturday.

Drafted seventh overall by the Flyers in 2023, Michkov is set for his first NHL season after coming over from the KHL.
