One fatality was reported following a two-car crash and fire on Route 58 in Easton on Saturday, according to police.
At about 7:30 p.m., police responded to the crash on Route 58 near Center Road after receiving several calls to 911.
One of the vehicles was on fire when police responded, and the other automobile had serious damage. Firefighters arrived on scene and put out the fire, according to police.
Police said one person was pronounced dead at the scene and the person’s identity has not been released at this time. Route 58 was closed for several hours following the crash and the investigation is ongoing, according to police.
