A Jasper man was killed when he was thrown from his motorcycle and struck by an SUV in Cullman County.
Alabama State Troopers identified the fatality victim as Gary A. Decatur. He was 45.
The crash happened at 12:33 p.m. Saturday on Cullman County 222, about seven miles west of Bremen.
Trooper Cpl. Reginal King said Decatur was operating a Honda VT750 Shadow Aero when he was thrown from the motorcycle. He was then struck by a Honda CRV driven by 26-year-old Shawn M. Hatcher of Birmingham.
Decatur was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, King said. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
The investigation is ongoing by troopers.
