Who is the Adoring Fan
As those familiar with Bethesda games probably know, Adoring Fan is a reference to a character of the same name from The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Both characters are voiced by Craig Sechler and look pretty similar.
As his name suggests, he is obsessively devoted to you, and he follows and acts on your decisions and orders without needing repetition.
He has many skills, such as Scavenging, Concealment, and Weight Lifting. In particular, his 2-star Weight Lifting skill allows him to carry up to 165 kg and increases your total inventory capacity, as he can carry your extra items.
His skill scale shows that he is better at physical things, but keep in mind that he still uses a .27-calibre Sidestar pistol, which can be useful in the field.
How to Recruit the Adoring Fan

To get him, you’ll need to activate the Hero Worshipped Trait during character creation at the beginning of the game, so the Adoring Fan will randomly approach you and try to talk to you.

How to Get Rid of the Adoring Fan
If you’ve noticed that things aren’t going so well after Adoring Fan joins your team and you’re really fed up with him, you’ll be glad to know that there are a few ways to get rid of him.
The easiest way is to talk to him and ask him to leave, which will get rid of him. Alternatively, you can use your Persuade ability to convince him to leave.
If you want something more drastic, you can kill him. This will automatically disable the Hero Worshipped ability, preventing the Adoring Fan from constantly approaching you, and he will no longer be able to follow you because he will be dead.
