BRIDES-to-be are flocking to a much-loved bridal shop in Glasgow after spotting wedding dresses on sale for £50.
Angelique Lamont Bridal and Bridesmaids, located on Howard Street in the city centre, has often been praised as being the “best in the business“.

Not only does it have an incredible selection of wedding dresses in a range of different sizes to flatter every body shape, but it also sells a collection of veils, hair pieces and tiaras.
There are even beautiful bridesmaid dresses and flower girl gowns for everything you could possibly need for your big day.
Or if you’re looking for something for prom then it has plenty of options available for that as well.
The shop has served thousands of happy customers since it first opened its doors 44 years ago.
But bosses have now announced their retirement and revealed that the store will close its doors for the final time in the coming months.
No exact date has been announced as of yet, and the bridal shop is still taking appointments and bookings.
But the store announced a massive wave of reductions – with bargains as low as £10.
Every single gown they have has been heavily reduced for customers to purchase off the peg.
Some wedding dresses are on offer for as little as £50 in a range of sizes including UK 12, 14 and 16.
And some designer gowns can be picked up for just £199, heavily discounted from the original prices of around £1,950.
Bridesmaid dresses are also on sale for bargain prices and can be bought for only £10.
The store currently stocks Mark Lesley, Richard Designs and Emma designer bridesmaid dresses in a range of colours and sizes.
Or for those looking for their wedding dress, they have a range of gowns by Demetrios Bridal, Ronald Joyce, Mori Lee and Tiffany Bridal.
However, bosses have said these come in one size and one colour only as they are also ready to take home off the peg.
Shoppers who want to grab further bargains can visit the store this Sunday between 12pm and 3pm.
No appointments are required to visit the bridal shop and staff will be on hand to help customers.
Staff at Angelique Lamont Bridal took to social media to share the news about their incredible sale.
In a post on Facebook, they wrote: “FURTHER REDUCTIONS. Everything must go!
“Bridal gowns from £50 (sizes uk 12,14,16). Bridesmaid gowns from £10. Prom gowns from £50.
“To book message us your name, Tel and date of wedding! Be fast while stock lasts.”

SHOCK CLOSURE
BOSSES Angelique Lamont Bridal and Bridesmaids announced that the store will close its doors for the final time last month.
Gutted staff announced the closure to customers in a heartbreaking post on social media.
In it, the owners explained that they have decided to step back from the shop and retire to spend more time at home with their families.
But they thanked everyone for their support over the last four decades.
Staff wrote: “After 44 years in the bridal business, it is with great sadness that we announce our decision to retire.
“This has not been an easy choice for us, but it is time to create a new chapter in our lives and spend more time with our families and friends.
“We would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you.
“From our beginnings at Miss Angelines Bridal Hire at our St. Enoch Square store, where we started 44 years ago, to our current location, Angelique Lamont Bridal and Bridesmaids, we have had the pleasure of helping tens of thousands of brides over the years.
“We have created unforgettable memories together, and we are forever grateful to you for allowing us to be a part of your journey.
“We have been fortunate to work alongside fantastic manufacturers and their representatives throughout the years.
“We extend our heartfelt thanks to all of you; it has been an amazing experience.
“To all the staff who have worked with us over the years, a massive thank you for helping make our brides’ dreams come true.
“The memories, laughter, and friendships we’ve made will stay with us forever.
“Thank you once again for choosing us to be a part of your special day. We appreciate you all so much.”
