Rangers hero Kris Boyd brutally trolls Celtic and Brendan Rodgers after Dortmund hammering in the Champions League

IT was a nightmare in Germany.

But Celtic‘s 7-1 hammering against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League was the stuff of Rangers hero Kris Boyd‘s dreams.

It wasn't subtle

Brendan Rodgersmen were torn apart as a Karim Adeyemi hattrick inspired the hosts to a huge victory in the competition.

There were three goals in three minutes with Daizen Maeda forcing in an equaliser before Adeyemi restored Dortmund’s lead after Emre Can‘s penalty.

Then the floodgates opened as the Scottish Premiership champions found themselves 5-1 down at half-time.

Serhou Guirassy and Lukas Nmecha added to the Hoops’ misery in the second period as the visitors crumbled in front of BVB’s famous Yellow Wall.

And it’s fair to say Boyd enjoyed it.

He mercilessly trolled his old rivals by posting a picture to Instagram of a yellow wall with several stunned emojis.

He then uploaded further images to his story with one of Rodgers and Dortmund boss Nuri Sahin post-match and the caption: “Please let the players know they’re the best team we’ve faced this season.”

That’s likely a dig at the Hoops boss declaring John McGlynn’s Falkirk as their toughest game earlier this term after Celts knocked them out the League Cup – a game they went behind twice.

A third saw his face photoshopped in amongst Dortmund supporters.

He added: “I will be back again. Loved my trip to @bvb09.”
