A-1 Studios Cannot Afford to Waste Solo Leveling’s Most Underused Character After the Manhwa Reduced Her to a Love Interest

The most dominant character in the entire Solo Leveling series is Sung Jinwoo. His power, might, and importance as the protagonist are so strong that other characters often get sidelined within the narrative. But that doesn’t mean they don’t have the potential to make it big. There are a few characters in the series that are so well-structured that they deserve a sequel or a spin-off series of their own.

The top contender among these deserving characters is Cha Hae-In, the only female S-Rank Hunter in Korea and the Vice-Guild Master of the Hunters Guild. Although Cha Hae-In is a major character in Solo Leveling, her storyline has not been extensively explored by Chugong in the manhwa. She has been deemed the love interest of Sung Jinwoo, and that has become her limitation.

Therefore, the Solo Leveling anime series has a chance to rectify this mistake and give more space to Cha Hae-In in the narrative. Her enticing story would only help in the overall growth of the entire series.

Cha Hae-In’s Potential in Solo Leveling

Cha Hae-In is one of the most unused characters in the Solo Leveling manhwa. When she was initially introduced in the narrative, her intimidating personality instantly made her a fan favorite. However, as the story progressed, she also got sidelined by Sung Jinwoo’s dominance, just like every other character.

Her individual story had a lot of potential as she was a top-level athlete who faced failure after an ankle injury but still worked hard and did justice to her title as an S-Rank hunter. Her biggest strength is her mana smell, which allows her to perceive the mana of monsters and hunters.

Although there were other characters who had more power than Cha Hae-In, she had the potential to make the Solo Leveling storyline even more intriguing. Her backstory and past are unexplored, and fans would love to see the events of her past that led to her becoming the only female S-Rank hunter in Korea.

Solo Leveling Has a New Opportunity With Cha Hae-In

Cha Hae-In’s character in Solo Leveling Manhwa revolved majorly around her love interest with Sung Jinwoo and, after that, the birth of their child. This was unjustified as she was one of the strongest hunters in the world and could have added more to the other aspects of the narrative that involved fighting and the use of hunting skills.

Cha Hae-In’s story stands out, as most of the hunters in Solo Leveling earned their powers through their awakening. However, Cha Hae-In’s journey was filled with struggles, hard work, and finding out the best potential route. Her complexity makes her compelling in a way that fans would love to find out more about her.

Therefore, A-1 Pictures has a big chance to explore this potential and use it to make Solo Leveling anime an even more intriguing and successful series. They could rectify Chugong’s mistake and add another element that could contribute significantly to the already enticing story of Solo Leveling.

Solo Leveling is available to watch on Crunchyroll.
