Nonetheless, fans would have taken this as just good music taste at the hands of Moretz.
However, the truth was anything but, and before long, rumors started floating around that the actress might have been cheated on by her former partner Brooklyn Beckham. This is because, a day before the Carrie star’s story, the then-19-year-old photographer was snapped getting cozy and locking lips with the then-20-year-old Playboy model Lexi Wood (per E! Online).
Apparently, the day when the pair was spotted together, Beckham had reportedly spent the day hanging out with Wood at Hideaway at Suite X tattoo parlor in West Hollywood, L.A. Before getting quite intimate later on during their PDA moment, Beckham also received an inking of a Classic Vargus pinup girl on his right arm from tattoo artist Doctor Woo (via @_dr_woo_).
While all of that already had fans convinced that Beckham may as well have cheated on his then-girlfriend, further eagle-eyed reports revealed that Moretz reportedly liked a picture from a fan account on Instagram, which featured her flipping the camera off with her middle finger, with the caption, ‘Greetings to @BrooklynBeckham from me m****rf****r’ (see Elle).
If that wasn’t enough, Beckham also seemingly broke his silence on the matter by hinting he felt vindicated from all the criticism and backlash he received after his picture of getting cozy with Wood broke the internet: He liked a post from a fan page that responded to Moretz’s Instagram story of Be Careful, with a message that read ‘Chloe’s fans are attacking Brooklyn Beckham.’
All of this said, it didn’t take long for fans to do the math with all of these events adding up to pretty much prove that Beckham may have cheated on Chloë Grace Moretz.
If not, then the likely moment of the couple’s split must have been in the two months preceding this, as both posted photos of each other on Instagram on Valentine’s Day, and Moretz even wished her boyfriend a happy birthday a month prior to this.

Per HuffPost, the couple were on and off before Mortez reluctantly confirmed their relationship on Watch What Happens Live in September 2016, saying about Beckham, “He’s a very good guy. Posting a photo of an “I Voted Early” sticker on her jeans, she emphasized that voting for Harris would help protect women’s rights, and also came clean about her sexuality, writing:
