LISBON, Ohio (WKBN)- A woman from Monongahela, Pennsylvania has been indicted and accused of stealing from elderly victims and a nursing home in Calcutta.
Heidi F. Shouse, 39, has been indicted on felony charges of theft from a person in a protected class, forgery and theft. A secret indictment in the case was filed last month.
According to the indictment, the crimes happened over the course of May 12, 2023, and August 31, 2023. The indictment alleges that Shouse forged checks and stole over $14,000 from several victims.
Shouse is expected to appear in the Columbiana County Court of Common Pleas on Friday at 1 p.m. for a pretrial hearing.
