A PERSON has been hit by a car on a busy Glasgow road.
Emergency crews were deployed to Dumbarton Road in the city’s west end this afternoon.
Police arrived and locked down the road.
The alarm was raised around 5.40pm after the crash happened.
Dumbarton Road has been closed between Hawick Street and Mill Road.
People have been urged to avoid the area.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Dumbarton Road is currently closed following a crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian.
“The incident happened around 5.40pm on Thursday, 7 November, 2024.
“The road is closed between Hawick Street and Mill Road.
“Emergency services are in attendance. Please avoid the area.”
