LIMESTONE COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) — The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office announced it’s partnering with a firearm training consultant to host a firearm safety class in December.
According to the sheriff’s office, Marshman Training & Consulting‘s Ed Marshman will be working with them to host the class on December 12 at 6 p.m.
LCSO said the class will consist of two hours in a classroom setting to teach people “firearm safety, the fundamentals of marksmanship, the legal ramifications of carrying and potentially using a firearm, and the Alabama Statutes covering the use of force and concealed carry.”
While the class is designed for beginners with little to no training, the sheriff’s office said it is open to everyone.
Following the class, LCSO said that there will be opportunities to sign up for live training at a later date.
