ALLIANCE, Ohio (WKBN) — Mount Union football has earned a first-round bye in the NCAA Division III Playoffs after an undefeated (10-0) regular season.
The Purple Raiders will host a second-round game Saturday, Nov. 30 at Kehres Stadium.
This season is Mount Union’s eighth straight undefeated regular season. The Purple Raiders also earned an automatic bid in the NCAA Playoffs by winning the Ohio Athletic Conference Championship.
Mount Union will play the winner of first-round matchups between Carnegie Mellon (9-10) vs. Centre (8-2) and John Carroll (8-2) vs. Mount St. Joseph (8-2). The matchups start Saturday, Nov. 23.
The Second round begins Saturday, Nov. 30.
