A one litre of the original Irish Cream is now just £10.00 with a Clubcard, a whopping saving of £12.

Despite being a festive favourite it’s the cheapest it’s been all year.

The deal is running until December 9, so shoppers need to be quick to snatch the tipple.

The supermarket says that whilst the sweet liqueur is delicious over ice, it can also be served over ice cream or in a hot chocolate.

Tesco is the latest store to offer the huge saving on Baileys after Morrisons was flogging one litre bottles for just £8.50.

However, there was one catch – shoppers needed to spend a minimum of £45 in-store to get the discounted drink.

The offer unfortunately expired on November 8, so Tesco’s bargain is a good alternative for those who missed out.

It is now £13 in Morrisons, but you’ll need a More Card.

More Cards can be downloaded on the My Morrisons app where hundreds more deals are available.

You can also check these bargains out through the My Morrisons website if you fancy scrolling on a bigger screen.

If you’ve got a physical More Card you are able to print out paper vouchers to shop in store.

According to Britain’s coupon king Jordan Cox, at this time of year there is always a Baileys price war among supermarkets.

As a seasonal treat, Sainsbury’s also halved the cost of a 1 litre bottle to only £10.

The deal is only available to those with a Nectar Card as part of its Nectar Prices.

It’s worth noting that the prices of items including Baileys can change regularly and deal can start and end at any time.

Baileys is famed for its smooth luxurious texture and distinctive taste.

With hints of chocolate and vanilla amongst the combination of Irish whiskey and Irish cream, it’s a tantalising mix.

Why do shops start selling Christmas stock so early?

Charlotte Harrington, the manager at Summerhill’s garden centre in Basildon, Essex, explained: “For many, many years now, we’ve opened our Christmas department on the August bank holiday.

“The stock comes in early and we gradually start putting it out on the shop floor. This is just a small fraction of what we have.

“But our Christmas displays are so spectacular it takes time to get everything set up, so we have to start early.

“It may seem a little odd putting them out now — especially with the hot weather.

“But we have to plan so far in advance.”
