A HOLLYWOOD star looks unrecognisable for his new role in a classic 80s film reboot.
The heartthrob has been spotted around Glasgow over the past few days as filming for the movie got underway.
The city has been transformed into a dystopian New York for the reboot of classic Arnold Schwarzenegger flick The Running Man.
And Glen Powell, 36, takes the lead in the new film alongside co-star Katy O’Brian, 35.
The Top Gun: Maverick actor was spotted on the streets of Glasgow today in a whole new look.
During filming, a stern-looking Glen looked unrecognisable as he donned a dark brown wig and some round specs.
He was also wearing a suit, with a long trench coat on top as the crew shot some scenes on the streets.
The film is being directed by Edgar Wright, his other work includes Shaun of the Dead and Scott Pilgrim vs World
The Running Man is based on a novel by Stephen King.
Movie legend Arnold Schwarzenegger portrayed wrongly convicted police Captain Ben Richards in the 80s blockbuster.
The plot saw him forced to take part in a game called The Running Man – a game show where prisoners can win their freedom.
The twisted programme saw cons act as “runners” and try to survive against “stalkers”.
Paramount announced they would be remaking the hit flick in 2021.
We told how Hollywood hunk Glen was spotted in the city centre sipping a coffee as he braved the Scottish weather.
An onlooker said: “The extras in their hippy-esque costumes certainly turned heads and not what I was expecting to see today.”
“And Glen was all smiles and really brightened up the gloomy, industrial-style set.
“He showed a crowd of adoring fans that he’s still Top Gun as he prepared to film his scenes.”
