HEARTBROKEN Coleen Rooney broke down in tears on I’m A Celebrity as she opened up about her family tragedy.
Tonight’s instalment of the ITV show saw the famous line-up get to know each other around camp.
Barry McGuigan got very emotional as he spoke about his daughter’s tragic death to the rest of his campmates.
This left the whole camp in tears, including Coleen, who explained what she has been through to Dean McCullough and Oti Mabuse.
Dean asked her: “What’s got your feeling so upset?”
Coleen said: “My mum and dad lost my sister so I know exactly what he’s going through.
“That’s so sad for the one family.”
Coleen explained: “I don’t usually get worked up, it takes me a lot, but to see, even when Rosie died, I kept it together for them, my mum and dad.”
Dean added: “But then you do need to eventually let it out.”
“That’s the thing,” Coleen replied.
“It’s when you’re away and in different environment. It’s when you’ve got time to stop and think.
“Rosie’s anniversary is January.”
Dean asked when she passed away, to which Coleen replied: “She was 14 when she died, she’d be 26 now.
“It’s hard to lose a child.
“I’ve always said that… so we’re lucky to have what we’ve got.”
Coleen’s parents Colette and Tony McLoughlin fostered Rosie, who had Rett syndrome.
Barry spoke about losing his daughter Danika, in 2019, when she was just 33.
She passed away weeks after being diagnosed with cancer.
Danika was diagnosed with acute lymphoid leukemia when she was 11-years-old and was given the all clear after two rounds of chemotherapy.
Dean revealed: “She had leukaemia, when I was making the boxing with Daniel Day Lewis, three weeks from the end I had to leave because she’d been diagnosed with leukaemia, they thought she wasn’t going to get better but she fought back and she won it.
“She had two years of chemo. She was good, she came back…”
But later on in life was diagnosed with stage four bowel cancer and tragically died five weeks later.
