YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) — A man who was arrested last December after a stolen piece of township equipment was found on his property was found guilty on charges related to the crime.
A Mahoning County jury found Jonathan Cosgray guilty of receiving stolen property and aggravated possession of drugs, both felonies. He was found not guilty of fraudulent actions concerning a vehicle identification number.
Cosgray was arrested in December 2023 after police investigated a tip that a side-by-side stolen from Goshen Township back in April was in his shed. A side-by-side matching the description of the one reported stolen was found on the property, and during Cosgray’s arrest, police reported recovering 10 grams of methamphetamine on him.
He will be sentenced Dec. 17.
