The hairdresser – which doubles as a tanning salon – was ordered to shut shop as detectives launched an urgent probe.

A local mum was distraught at the alleged discovery after learning her daughter had been regularly stripping off in the seedy sunbed parlour.

She said: “I feel sick to my stomach, my daughter uses this place, she was in just the other day.

“The place was swarming with cops, they’ve entered the shop and closed the shutters.”

Officers nicked a 43-year-old man and confirmed an ongoing probe is underway.

The shop remains closed this afternoon with metal shutters covering the shop window.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “On Friday, 22 November, 2024 officers carried out a search of premises in Dunkenny Square, Glasgow under warrant.

“A 43-year-man was arrested on connection with an ongoing enquiry.”

The barbers boast cut-rate fees for tanning according to an online post, with seven minutes priced at just £4.

The hair spot also offers traditional cuts including a hot towel shave and skin fades.
