The warship is due to take on supplies from the Glen Douglas munitions depot, which underwent a £69 million upgrade in 2021.
Workers were quick to begin the resupply operation, lifting heavy crates into the aircraft carrier’s hold.

HMS Prince of Wales is expected to return to sea after she has taken the supplies onboard, though no timescale for her departure has been given.
She will visit Liverpool in December, with the public invited onboard for a tour of the ship, one of the most powerful ever built in Britain.
Tickets for the event are already sold out, with 20,000 people expected to pay the ship a visit.
