PITTSBURGH, Pa. (WKBN) – The Cleveland Guardians traded relief pitcher Peter Strzelecki to the Pittsburgh Pirates on Friday evening.
In exchange, Cleveland receives cash considerations.
Strzelecki was designated for assignment on Nov. 19.
The 30-year old right-hander spent the 2024 season with the Guardians after being acquired in a trade with the Arizona Diamondbacks on March 28.
He spent five stints with Cleveland with the Major League team, appearing in ten games. He posted a 2.31 ERA in 11.2 innings of work.
