This has forced the cancellation of a number of freight runs between Ullapool and Stornoway, which will last into the middle of the week.

Night-time freight sailings have been cancelled until Thursday, when the route will be taken over by MV Loch Seaforth.
As a result two daily crossings have been converted to freight-only until the fresh vessel is deployed on the route.
MV Hebridean Isles is due to be retired this week after 40 years servicing Scotland’s islands.
A spokesperson for Caledonian MacBrayne said: “MV Heb Isles has suffered failure of X-Band radar and is now restricted to daylight operations only which has resulted in amendments to the STO-ULL (Stornoway – Ullapool) freight service Monday to Wednesday, with the Loch Seaforth expected to resume this service on Thursday night.”
