Police are investigating a nonfatal shooting in Hartford late Sunday.
Officers responded to the area of 756 Garden St. around 10:51 p.m. where they received a ShotSpotter notification and learned while they were at the scene that a gunshot victim was dropped off at an area hospital, according to Lt. Aaron Boisvert of the Hartford Police Department.
The victim, a man in his 20s, was alert and conscious, Boisvert said.
The Hartford Police Major Crimes and Crime Scene Divisions responded and assumed the investigation. The shooting remains under investigation.
