HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — Huntsville International Airport announced the 15th non-stop flight route Monday.
Delta Air Lines will add a non-stop flight from Huntsville to New York City (LaGuardia Airport) starting April 14, 2025.
The new route will operate once daily in both directions. Passengers will fly on Bombardier CRJ-900 equipment with 76 seats including First Class.
“New York City has been a top unserved market for our community, and we are excited Delta Air Lines recognizes the opportunity for our business and leisure travelers. Having received numerous requests for this service for many years, we expect the community will take full advantage of these non-stop flights to the Big Apple.”

Delta currently flies non-stop routes to Atlanta and Detroit daily.
Board Chair of the Port of Huntsville Trey Bentley said customers desire non-stop service to major destinations and the addition of NYC will connect the community to the nation’s largest metro.
“This new non-stop service from Huntsville to New York City connects our community to the nation’s largest metro. Our customers desire non-stop service to major destinations to enable them the convenience of doing business in a day if needed. We continue to strive to add new markets and provide travel options for our customers.”

There are roughly 80 scheduled Delta departures every week from Huntsville. Customers can look forward to complimentary snacks and beverages during their flight, as well as access to hundreds of movies, series and more to help customers sit back and relax.
