Here are AL.com’s SEC football players of the week for Week 3 of the 2024 season:
Offense
Jalen Milroe, QB, Alabama — Milroe accounted for five touchdowns in a 42-10 victory at Wisconsin on Saturday. The junior from Katy, Texas, completed 12 of 17 passes for 196 yards and three touchdowns and also ran for 75 yards and two scores on 14 attempts.
Defense
Bradyn Swinson, DE, LSU — Swinson had a huge performance in the Tigers’ comeback victory at South Carolina. The senior from Douglasville, Ga., had five tackles, three tackles for loss, three sacks, a forced fumble and a quarterback hurry as LSU won 36-33.
Special teams
Blake Craig, K, Missouri — Craig was a true difference-maker in the Tigers’ 27-21 victory over Boston College. The redshirt freshman from Kansas City made all four field goals (38, 38, 56 and 31 yards) and his lone extra-point attempt, and also had touchbacks on all six of his kickoffs.
