0 Victories in six games for Big Ten teams against SEC teams ranked in the top four of the AP Poll during the regular season, with Alabama owning four of the SEC’s victories. Another came last week when No. 3 Texas defeated Michigan 31-11. In the other game, Ohio State and No. 4 LSU tied 13-13 on Aug. 26, 1987. Wisconsin owns the Big Ten’s biggest regular-season win against an SEC opponent. The Badgers beat No. 5 LSU 16-14 on Sept. 3, 2016.
2 Previous games between Alabama and Wisconsin. The Badgers won 15-0 on Nov. 3, 1928, in Madison, Wisconsin, and the Crimson Tide won 35-17 on Sept. 5, 2015, in Arlington, Texas.

Alabama has a 9-5 record in bowls against Big Ten opponents, giving the Tide an overall mark of 13-6 versus the conference.

17 Consecutive seasons with a victory for Alabama in its first game away from home. The winning streak dates from a 24-23 setback at Arkansas on Sept. 23, 2006. The Crimson Tide has started the 2024 season by beating Western Kentucky 63-0 on Aug. 31 and South Florida 42-16 on Sept. 7 at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
18 Years since Alabama lost a September game on its opponent’s home field. Since a 28-13 loss at Florida on Sept. 30, 2006, the Crimson Tide has won three times at Arkansas, two times apiece at Ole Miss and Vanderbilt and once at Duke, Florida, Georgia, Missouri, Penn State, South Carolina, Texas, Texas A&M in September during a 15-game streak.
31 Consecutive victories for Alabama when the Crimson Tide’s game kicks off at noon or earlier local time. Alabama’s most recent loss with a noon or earlier kickoff came on Dec. 31, 2004, when Minnesota defeated the Tide 20-16 in the Music City Bowl.
35 Years since the previous time Wisconsin played a top-10 non-conference opponent in Madison. No. 4 Alabama is the first top-10 non-conference visitor to Camp Randall Stadium since No. 3 Miami (Fla.) defeated the Badgers 51-3 on Sept. 9, 1989. Wisconsin has a 1-9 record against top-10 non-conference visitors, with the victory coming on Sept. 21, 1974, when the Badgers beat No. 4 Nebraska 21-20.
46 Years since Alabama played a game farther north than Madison, Wisconsin. On Oct. 7, 1978, the Crimson Tide defeated Washington 20-17 in Seattle. Seattle’s latitude is 47.6 degrees north. Madison’s is 43.1 degrees north. In between the 1978 game and Saturday’s game at Wisconsin, Alabama played games north of the 40th parallel in Foxborough, Massachusetts; East Rutherford, New Jersey; South Bend, Indiana; and University Park, Pennsylvania.
53 Years since an SEC team played at Camp Randall Stadium. On Sept. 25, 1971, LSU posted a 38-28 victory over Wisconsin in Madison in the Badgers’ first meeting with an SEC opponent. Of the 15 meetings that have followed between Wisconsin and SEC opponents, 11 came in bowls. The Badgers played at LSU in 1972 and faced LSU in Houston in 2014 and in Green Bay in 2016 and Alabama in Houston in 2015. Wisconsin has a 4-12 record against SEC opponents.
312 Games have been played by Alabama since it was most recently shut out. Alabama’s scoring streak is the third-longest in SEC history. Alabama’s most recent shutout loss came 9-0 to Auburn on Nov. 18, 2000.
