ALFREDO MORELOS insists he’s ‘calm’ after returning to action following his drink driving crash last month.
The former Rangers striker also reserved a special thanks to an ex-Celtic player.
Morelos, 28, was arrested after his car collided with a motorcycle on the outskirts of Medellin as he drove to training in late October.
He was nicked at the scene on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
Unsurprisingly, the situation plunged Colombia international Morelos’ footballing future into major doubt.
He’s currently on loan at Atletico Nacional in his homeland from Brazilian club Santos, who he joined after his Ibrox exit.

Atletico launched an investigation and at the beginning of this month, the club revealed they’d taken disciplinary action against him.
However, they decided AGAINST terminating Morelos’ deal and instead revealed he’d be available for selection when the manager deemed it the right time.
The Atletico Nacional manager is Efrain Juarez, who had a spell as a Celtic player between 2010 and 2012.
The day prior to the club’s decision being made public, Morelos broke his silence and revealed his ‘regret’ over the situation.
In his statement, he claimed to have been “collaborating with his recovery,” in relation to the motorcyclist injured in the collision.
The crash victim, however, disputed that and accused Morelos of LYING.
Last week, barely two weeks on from the incident, Morelos was added back to the Atletico Nacional squad.
He subsequently appeared as a substitute in the 1-1 draw with Deportivo Pereira.
That appearance came amid reports in Colombia claiming Morelos had his driving license suspended and had been fined “a significant amount.”
Atletico Nacional were back in action again last night, facing-off against city rivals Independiente Medellin.
And this time, Morelos was restored to the starting XI.
He picked up a booking before being subbed-off on 64 minutes.
The match finished 1-1.
Morelos appeared for interviews after the game and told a local reporter that he was feeling “very calm.”
The striker also revealed his gratitude to Juarez and everyone else at the club for giving him the chance to return.
Morelos said: “As a human being, everyone makes mistakes.
“I feel very calm, very grateful to him (Juarez), to my teammates, to the board, to the owners who gave me the opportunity again.”
