Chose and Yuji’s fight scene is ruled out as one of the best in Jujutsu Kaisen

Of all the fights in the series, Choso and Yuji’s battle is legendary. It is also one of the underrated battles in Jujutsu Kaisen. Choso is a half-human and half-cursed spirit who seeks vengeance from Yuji Itadori. The battle is reminiscent of gameplay with an array of signs and symbols. To say the least, this showdown isn’t a bog-standard battle. Moreover, this extends to the battle choreography as well. And there’s more to it.

The use of impact frames with CG animation is an impeccable move by MAPPA. The battle was nothing short of extraordinary. However, what sets it apart is the use of signs coupled with the setting. Shibuya Subway Station and the signs run parallel with the battle. Moreover, Yuji and Choso’s movements along with their attacks take the cake. And there’s more to it.

Despite being an underappreciated battle, Reddit fans are gradually acknowledging MAPPA’s feat.

Yuji and Choso’s fight underscores MAPPA’s brilliance and Akutami’s prowess. The battle showcases one of the integral cursed techniques. Especially since the battle shifts from the subway to the restroom.

All in all, this battle is an epic showdown in every sense. This holds relevance to its setting, symbolism, choreography, and animation. To say the least, MAPPA accentuated Akutami’s prowess as a manga artist. They did absolute justice in animating this legendary battle.
