SIR Andy Murray’s stage gigs sold out today within minutes — leaving thousands of fans gutted.

Tickets for his four shows, including two Scots dates, were snapped up moments after they were made available online.

Promoters said demand had been “extremely high”.

However, they urged punters not to buy from touts after missing out on tickets.

The warning came after a brief for his event at Glasgow’s SEC Armadillo next June appeared on a website priced at a whopping £360.

The ‘Centre Stage’ tour will see the tennis icon, 37, sharing secrets from his illustrious career with telly presenter Andrew Cotter, 51, a fellow Scot.

But Muzza’s army of supporters told on social media of their disappointment at missing out on a chance to see the pair.

It came after a general sale opened at 10am following a pre-sale.

A let-down fan

One let-down fan said: “Tickets were unavailable at 10.01am.

“I hope Andy realises how popular he is and considers more venues.”

Another hit out: “Frustrated to say the least. Releasing so few tickets is a massive waste of people’s time.

“I made the point of getting time off work to make sure I got tickets, and there were fewer than 100 available! Hugely disappointing.”

A third added: “Andy — you’re more popular than Oasis! Hope other dates will be added.”

ATG Tickets said: “Tickets can’t be sold for profit.

“Please don’t purchase from a secondary website.”

Sir Andy will be in Glasgow on June 18 and Edinburgh Playhouse the next night before two shows in London.

Andy Murray’s Centre Stage tour presents a rare opportunity for fans to get to know the tennis legend in a new light.

As he makes the move from centre court to centre stage, the shows promise to offer an entertaining, insightful and potentially emotional journey through the career of one of Britain’s greatest sporting icons.

Murray said: “After I retired this Summer, I wanted to try some different things.

“I haven’t stepped on a tennis court for a long time, so hopefully my fans will enjoy seeing me in this new setting.”
