ARAB, Ala. (WHNT) — The holiday spirit is set to arrive back in Arab with Christmas in the Park and Santa in the Village after Thanksgiving.
Arab City Park is set to receive a makeover the day after Thanksgiving.
The City of Arab and Arab Parks and Recreation will transform the city’s park for the annual holiday spectacle.
Christmas in the Park is a festive, over-the-top display of holiday splendor with more than two million lights to light up the night sky.
The holiday lights will be lit will run from November 29 to December 31. The Christmas spectacle will kick off on Nov. 29 with a lighting ceremony at 6 p.m.
There will be Christmas music entertainment provided by the Arab High School Jazz Band.
Admission to the event is free and open to all.
Food trucks will be located at the entrance of the walking trail and there will also be live music nightly in the Rice Church.
With Love and Butter Alabama will be set up with a variety of holiday goodies ready to purchase in the Ruth clubhouse.
Hours for Santa in the Village are 6 to 9 p.m. (weather permitting) beginning November 29-30, and continuing December 6-7, December 13-14 and December 20-21. Admission for Santa in the Village is $6 per person. Children under 2 are admitted free.
