There was a lot of good news on the local college football front Saturday. Alabama jumped up in the morning and put down Wisconsin with the ease of a native cheesehead inhaling a brat. UAB took the stage in the afternoon and took the fight to Arkansas, giving the Blazers and their backers hope for the rest of the season.
