Machine Learning is an action-packed level in Astro Bot‘s Feather Cluster galaxy, where you get to progress through the level as Aloy, the protagonist of the Horizon series.
If you’re looking to score all of the Astro Bot collectibles, we’ve got plenty of guides covering all the Astro Bot collectible locations you’ll need to visit to secure the Platinum.
This Astro Bot collectible guide focuses on all of the Machine Learning collectible locations, which you’ll need to check off for the shiny trophy.
Machine Learning Collectible Locations
You’ll need to get all of the collectibles in this level to secure the Astro Bot trophy for the Feather Cluster collectible locations.
Thankfully, there are not many Machine Learning collectable locations. That being said, the level can take a bit of time to get through—it’s not a short one, but it is a fun one!
You’ll meet Aloy and get to play as her, which includes wielding her iconic bow. A lot of the mechanics in this level involve shooting things down with it, so get comfortable with aiming.
There are 5 Bots and 3 Puzzle Pieces to locate at this level. The Lost Galaxy level entrances are located on other levels. This guide will tackle them in the order you’d naturally find them as you progress through the level, so you won’t need to backtrack much.
Puzzle Piece #1
When you’re flying into the level, don’t let your guard down! You’ll need to grab the first collectible before you even land. The Puzzle Piece is located on a Tallneck that walks across the screen. Make sure to use your boosters to catch up to it in time, or you’ll have to quit and try again.
Bot #1 — Erend
After crossing the log wall-turned-bridge, look to the right. You’ll see a horizontal metal beam with an arrow on the side.
Shoot the arrow to turn the beam and cross over. The Bot is on a pile of barrels surrounded by enemies.
Bot #2 — Watcher
When you come across a stone platform indented into the ground and surrounded by a shallow pool of water, look around till you spot a broken stone structure. In the air in front of it is the Bot hanging onto a small balloon. Shoot at it to rescue the Bot.
Puzzle Piece #2
In the area with the three electrified pink wires connecting to a small rock in the center, you’ll see an obvious path that leads into a cave on the right. Ignore that for now, and go around the left side.
You’ll find a very small field of flowers with a stone platform that faces an island of trees in the distance. If you look carefully, you’ll see a wooden box on that island that you can shoot. Breaking it will give you the Puzzle Piece.
Bot #3 — Rost
Go back to the path on the right mentioned in the previous part. Shoot the glowing green barrels and swim underwater, resurfacing after crossing into the new area.
Stand on the stone platforms there and look at the ceiling behind you to see a Bot hanging from a green rock. Shoot the rock with your bow and then rescue the Bot from the water.
Bot #4 — Grazer
After emerging into the sandy area, walk around till you see a Bot surrounded by four electrified pink wires. Break them with your boost jump to free the Bot.
Puzzle Piece #3
In the same area, check the walls till you see a small cove-like entrance with a purple Bot phasing in and out of the area and some deer grazing in front.
The rocks covering the entrance have some gaps with green canisters on the other side. Shoot them to break the wall and retrieve the Puzzle Piece inside.
Bot #5 — Sylens
Proceed through the level as normal until you dive into the futuristic cave with rope swings. Jump onto the first rope, but before you proceed forward, turn around—you’ll see a Bot nearby being attacked by some enemies. Swing onto the next rope, which should bring you close to the Bot.
With that, you’ve found all the Machine Learning collectible locations and can proceed to the end of the level as normal.
