Meet Kroshik, which is Russian for Crumb. This sturdy tomcat certainly lives up to his name: he clearly doesn’t leave a crumb in his food bowl. The overweight cat has recently been cared for at a Russian animal shelter. The animal was rescued from the basement of a hospital in the city of Perm, where people were feeding him – or stuffing him – with biscuits, meat and soup. When the shelter staff took him away, Crumb couldn’t even walk because he was so fat. He weighed no less than 17 kilos.
