Baseball fans will go 'Bananas' as Savannah Bananas expected to take over Chesapeake Dunkin'

CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) – A Dunkin’ location in Chesapeake will have baseball fans going bananas on Saturday.

On Saturday, Aug. 17 from 9-11 a.m., fans will be able to meet Jaren Donalson and Austin Krzeminski from the Savannah Bananas and Chase Achuff and Zach Blankenship from the Party Animals at the Dunkin’ at 1108 Volvo Parkway.

During the event, the players will be put to work behind the counter, handing out orders and treats to Dunkin’ customers, as well as handing out Dunkin’ and Savannah Bananas co-branded prizes.

A select few guests will also have the opportunity to score free tickets to Saturday night’s game at Harbor Park Stadium.

During the Savannah Bananas three-day game series at Harbor Park in Norfolk against the Party Animals from Aug. 16-18, fans will receive free Munchkins Donut Hole Treats when the opposing team’s designated “donut batter” goes down swinging.
